Aid in sales quotes and proposal generation

CRM Management

Assist clients with menus and scheduling

Work well under pressure – If you wear a panic button on your belt or scream fire the minute you see smoke you’re probably not the right candidate for this role

Be able to communicate clearly and think on your toes – Again, we’re a start-up, so we want go-getters that make things happen

Client follow-ups to ensure they’re satisfied and happy – We need people who love making clients happy and aren’t scared of the phone or hide behind email constantly.

Be able to effectively communicate with the kitchen and operation teams

Collaborate with Chef and kitchen to thoroughly understand the menu and our process on an ongoing basis – Yes…you’ll work with our head chefs to understand what we do, how we do it and most importantly the passion and meaning behind it all.

Ensure order accuracy by verifying that all client data is valid, current, and accurate – We’ll teach you all of the buttons to push and what levers to pull, but you’ll need to be the air traffic controller and land the planes each day!

Occasional supervision of corporate catering functions and events- We do it all here and it’s a team effort so yes, there will be times where you’ll need to roll up your sleeves, shut the laptop down and help out.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings when events are held
  • 1-3 years catering or food industry a GIANT plus
  • Comfortable presenting ideas – We don’t need you to do a TED talk, but we do need you to present internally and with clients
  • Ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
  • Time management skills – Our food doesn’t promote napping and neither do we! Must be able to manage your time and hustle
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail – we want someone who hates when things aren’t done right
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proposal document experience is helpful
  • Experience in all Microsoft Office applications and Google/G Suite skills required
  • Position offers base salary plus commission – High earning potential…we repeat, high earning potential!
